These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rainmail, an email delivery service operated by Doc Norrie Legacy Holdings, LLC ("Rainmail", "we", "us"). By creating an account, paying for a plan, or sending email through Rainmail, you agree to these Terms.
Rainmail lets you send email from your own domain through our infrastructure, including authentication setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), managed IP reputation, and deliverability monitoring. We provide the service on a subscription basis according to the plan you select.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your sending credentials secure, and for all activity sent through your account.
Rainmail is for legitimate, permission-based email. You agree NOT to use Rainmail to send:
You must honor unsubscribe requests promptly and maintain healthy list hygiene. We may monitor sending reputation, complaint rates, and bounce rates to protect the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, generate excessive spam complaints or bounces, threaten the deliverability of our shared infrastructure, or fail to pay. Because our sending reputation is shared and valuable, we enforce these rules strictly and may act immediately in cases of clear abuse.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor (Stripe). You authorize us to charge your payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel. Plan limits and prices are described on getrainmail.com and may change with notice.
You retain all rights to the content you send. You grant us the limited right to transmit, store, and process it solely to provide the service. You keep ownership of your domain and your DKIM keys.
The service is provided "as is." While we work hard on deliverability, email delivery depends on third parties (receiving mail providers) we do not control, and we do not guarantee that every message will reach the inbox. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doc Norrie Legacy Holdings, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
